  1. Hello! Happy to find you!

We are moving to Dunkeld from Edinburgh in August. Our eldest son (9) has been a huge fan of his active schools pre school fencing class for two years and is very keen to continue. Our daughter (7) would now like to begin. Which classes would be most appropriate and when does the new term start? Would you consider a class in the Royal School of Dunkeld? With kind wishes, Debbie Cave

    1. Hi Debbie. We are just about to go in to the summer. There is a week long course from 25th July that might suit. Otherwise, we are are back to our usual schedule from 8th August. Beginners classes are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 6.30-7.30pm and Saturdays 1-4pm. And yes, I think a class at Dunkeld wouldn’t be out of the question!

  2. Hi, my 8 year old son is keen to try fencing. We live in Dunning. Is the 6.30 Tuesday class suitable for him?. From the message above it looks like we’ve missed the first couple of weeks. Should we wait until the new term?
    Thanks
    Ruth

    1. Hi Ruth, we’d be delighted to see him on any evening Monday – Wednesday. Doors open at 6pm and classes start at 6.30pm We are quite full on Mondays and Tuesdays, but we’ll get one of our coaches to introduce him to the basics. There are more spaces available on Wednesdays. But as I say, any evening is good. Try us out for a couple of sessions before you commit to payment etc. I he can come wearing indoor trainers and long tracksuit style trousers that would be perfect. See you then.

  3. That’s brilliant. Thanks for all your help.
We’ll be there next Tuesday. Sorry we can’t make a Wednesday at the moment but will keep that in mind.
